Andrew Resnick

ANDREW RESNICK

is a recent graduate of Yale University where he received a BA in Music. A classically trained pianist, he has since served as the music director for the world premiere of Paula Vogel’s A Civil War Christmas (Long Wharf Theatre), a reading of Ricky Ian Gordon’s upcoming musical Sycamore Trees (Signature Theatre VA, 2010) and Twilight in Manchego (NYMF). He has improvised (on the piano, of course), with numerous comedy troupes, including Chicago City Limits, Broadway’s Next Hit Musical, One Night Stand: An Improvised Musical, Impro Theatre’s Sondheim Unscripted, Just Add Water (Yale University) and The Scene Monkeys (Harvard-Westlake). He also music directed numerous shows at Yale, and co-wrote the music to The Yale Show 2008. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the drums, competitive sports, and attempting to meditate.
